ABOUT THE ROLE

Consulum is seeking a senior consultant to support account leads and senior

members of the team in providing dedicated strategic communications support to a variety of clients. Providing high-quality research and media monitoring, the successful candidate will be based in Riyadh office and should be willing to travel on a regular basis, particularly within the region.

LOCATION

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce research, briefing notes, and reports to support client advice
• Support the account lead and account manager in providing strategic communications
• Draft messaging, talking points, press releases, and digital content
• Analyse and present data to inform communications strategies
• Prepare materials for new business pitches and participate in account team and companywide discussions
• Attend client meetings, including regular travel as required
• Support daily digital activities and ensure timely delivery of client projects
• Contribute to and implement data-driven digital strategies, including narrative and content creation for social channels
• Identify and engage key stakeholders and influencers through targeted digital plans
• Gather baselining data, conduct stakeholder interviews, document as-is assessment, and support benchmarking research
• Manage L&D session logistics and support facilitation and communication around learning initiatives.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Skills

• Research and writing skills - the ability to produce consistently high-quality research and written content
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Analytical and organisational skills
• Excellent organisational skills and a flexible approach to work, with the ability to work independently, but also display solid team working skills
• Bachelor’s degree (2.1 or above), Master’s degree preferred.
• Curiosity and openness to using AI tools to support research, writing, and workflow efficiency

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years’ prior work experience in communications, including working in or consulting to public sector organisations, preferably in the Gulf.
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic
