Role Summary

We are looking for an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities within a CMA-regulated entity, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

·        Prepare VAT returns and related reconciliations, ensuring compliance with applicable ZATCA

requirements

·        Investigate accounting and reconciliation differences and ensure timely resolution of outstanding

items

·        Record and reconcile intercompany and related-party transactions and balances

·        Maintain complete supporting documentation and audit trails for financial transactions

·        Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management

reports

·        Perform account and variance analysis, investigate unusual movements, and resolve accounting

discrepancies

Required Qualifications & Experience

·        Saudi National is required for this role

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA,

ACCA, CMA) are an advantage

·        3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a regulated financial services or

investment management company

·        Good understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial

reporting

·        Experience with CMA-regulated entities and regulatory reporting is preferred

·        Professional accounting qualification or progress toward a recognized qualification is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

·        Native/fluent Arabic speaker, with strong proficiency in English

·        Strong multitasking ability,capable of managing several concurrent accounting workstreams

·        High accuracy and attention to detail, particularly under tight deadlines and audit pressure

·        Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) preferred

·        Ability to work independently while keeping the Senior Accountant informed of priorities and risks

·        Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to shifting priorities
