Life Lover is seeking an experienced and results-driven Odoo Developer / Technical Consultant to join our technology team and play a key role in the development, optimization, integration, and continuous enhancement of our Odoo ERP ecosystem.

This role is suited for a technically strong professional with solid expertise in Odoo development, ERP architecture, system integrations, and business process automation, who can translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, high-performance solutions and support the organization’s digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, customization, and continuous enhancement of Odoo ERP solutions in alignment with business requirements and strategic objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules, workflows, views, reports, and business logic.
• Analyze functional and operational requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and efficient technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and interfaces between Odoo and third-party platforms and enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain integrations with POS, E-Commerce platforms, Payment Gateways, ZATCA, marketplaces, and other external systems.
• Develop and maintain integrations with platforms such as Amazon, Noon, Trendyol, Golden Scent, and similar marketplaces.
• Enhance and automate business processes across Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Accounting, Invoicing, POS, E-Commerce, Website, HR, Projects, Helpdesk, Maintenance, Quality, and other core Odoo applications.
• Develop and optimize warehouse and operational workflows, including picking, packing, shipping, inventory movements, and related processes.
• Implement and maintain ZATCA E-Invoicing compliance, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 requirements, e-invoice generation, XML/UBL structure, QR codes, cryptographic requirements, ZATCA API integration, clearance/reporting, invoice validation, and compliance troubleshooting.
• Configure and maintain Saudi Arabia localization, including Arabic/English configurations, translations, VAT, and ZATCA requirements.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions, ensuring data accuracy and business relevance.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases, SQL queries, data integrity, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Develop and customize Odoo frontend components using XML, JavaScript, QWeb, OWL, and the Odoo Web Framework.
• Conduct technical analysis, troubleshoot complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Optimize application and database performance through code review, debugging, refactoring, and performance tuning.
• Manage data migration, Odoo upgrades, version updates, compatibility, and system maintenance.
• Manage module deployment, testing, staging, production releases, and ongoing production support.
• Ensure all development activities follow best practices for security, scalability, maintainability, performance, and code quality.
• Implement and maintain Odoo security configurations, including ACLs, Record Rules, User Groups, and Role-Based Access Control.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering system architecture, customizations, integrations, configurations, and technical procedures.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and technology teams to identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and digital transformation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s ERP architecture, technology capabilities, and digital infrastructure.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in Odoo Development, preferably within an ERP or enterprise environment.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining Odoo customizations, modules, integrations, and APIs.
• Strong expertise in Python and Odoo Framework / Odoo ORM.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, relational database concepts, and data integrity.
• Strong proficiency in XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, QWeb, and OWL.
• Solid understanding of Odoo architecture, ERP concepts, business processes, and system integration.
• Proven experience with REST APIs, Web Services, and third-party integrations.
• Practical experience integrating Odoo with E-Commerce platforms, marketplaces, POS systems, payment gateways, and external business applications.
• Strong practical experience implementing and maintaining ZATCA E-Invoicing compliance, preferably including Phase 2 (Fatoora).
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia VAT and E-Invoicing requirements.
• Experience with Odoo 18/19.
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems.
• Ability to work with Odoo.sh, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, and deployment environments is highly preferred.
• Experience with multi-company, multi-branch, or multi-warehouse ERP environments is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently across the full development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth corporate environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
