The College of Business and Digital Innovation at the University of New Haven - Riyadh (NHU-Riyadh) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice in Management, beginning January 2027. NHU-Riyadh is the first international branch campus to have received approval in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and opened its doors. The college welcomed its first students at Misk City, Riyadh, in August 2026 and is now building the faculty for its next phase of growth. The position combines teaching, service and applied research, with the opportunity to shape a new business curriculum in its formative years. Assistant Professor of Practice - Management

The College of Business and Digital Innovation at NHU-Riyadh invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice in Management, beginning in Spring 2027. This is an opportunity to join a new academic venture and contribute to the development of business education in a dynamic, internationally connected setting. This position includes teaching, service, and research expectations along with the opportunity to develop innovative and relevant business curricula. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to teaching excellence, and a student-centered approach. All faculty members are expected to contribute to student success through activities such as advising and career mentoring.

You Will

• Teach: Inspire and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in management, incorporating the latest advancements and real-world applications. Courses to be taught may include one or more of the following:
• Undergraduate: Introduction to Business and Entrepreneurship; Principles of Management and Organization Behavior; Ethics, Sustainability and CSR; Business Planning and Modeling; Knowledge Management; New Venture Management and Growth; Compensation; Business Society and Global Challenges, Human Resource Development; Business Capstone.
• Graduate: Leadership and Teambuilding, Leading Organizational Strategy and Change, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Risk Management, and Organizational Effectiveness.
• Academic Assessment: Collect learning assessment data as needed.
• Research: Conduct cutting-edge research that advances the field of management.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of innovative curricula.
• Mentorship: Guide and advise students, fostering their professional development and preparing them for successful careers.
• Service: Engage in service activities that contribute to the department, college, and university.
• Student Engagement: Support and engage in student focused activities to enhance the vibrant student population at the NHU-Riyadh campus.

You Need

Ph.D. in Management or related discipline with experience in one or more of the teaching areas listed above.

• MBA with substantive experience and/or professional engagement in one of more of the teaching areas listed above.
• Teaching Excellence: Demonstrated excellence in teaching, with a passion for student learning and mentorship.
• Research Potential: For terminal degree holders, a strong research record or the potential to conduct high-quality intellectual contributions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively engage with students. Bilingual language skills are a plus.
• Business Practice Experience: Business practice experience is well regarded.

Compensation, which includes salary and any potential allowances, will be established in accordance with Saudi Arabian compensation framework in conjunction with the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience, education and position.

Any successful candidate for these roles will be processed, onboarded, and deployed to Riyadh through an outsourcing human resources company contracted by the University of New Haven specifically for this process. All academic duties will be supervised by New Haven University's administrative staff. Successful candidates will be required to obtain, and appropriately maintain, a Saudi Arabia Visa and related Work Authorizations through the contracted human resources outsourcing company.
