Job Purpose:
To ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports of assigned entities and managing key accounting processes (leases, employee benefits, ECL) and supporting compliance with IFRS standards. Plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, analyzing variances, and assisting with external audits to uphold the highest standards of financial reporting of assigned entities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per the group timelines.
• Review and approve journal entries for intercompany transactions, leases, provisions, and other GL transactions.
• Implement IFRS standards and prepare impact assessments.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with all disclosure and audit requirements.
• Support the Financial Reporting Director in developing internal reporting manuals and technical accounting memos.
• Lead the process of ensuring the accuracy of system-generated financial data from ERP.
• Review quarterly consolidation packages from subsidiaries for completeness and accuracy.
• Collect and update standing data for all property leases.
• Manage full accounting and finance function of the assigned entities.
• Prepare and support all necessary reporting packages in coordination with the Group Reporting Director and the GCFO.
• Roll forward Quarterly Financial Statements Document.
• Prepare relevant Notes for Quarterly Financial Statements as instructed by the Financial Reporting Director.
• Monitor and complete data requests from External Auditors in a timely manner.
• Review and explain all variances for ECL computations in all subsidiaries and reporting figures.
• Assist in the update of existing and creation of new Accounting Policies and Procedures.
• Prepare relevant technical memos for financial accounting areas for the assigned entities.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of IFRS and technical accounting.
• High analytical capability with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Experience:

• 5+ years in Financial Reporting, Audit Firm, or field experience.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Language:

• Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.

Licenses / Certifications:

• SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, ACA
