Seeking an experienced MS Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Technical Lead is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the migration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions from on premises to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to ensure a seamless transition while maintaining data integrity, business continuity, and system performance.

Location : Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (onsite)

Contract : 12 months, (extendable)

Experience : 8+ years

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• · 8-12 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance and Operations) implementations and support
• · Strong knowledge of on-premises Dynamics 365 and cloud-based Dynamics 365 environments
• · Proficiency in C#, X++, SQL Server, T-SQL, and .NET framework
• · Deep understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Supply Chain, etc.)
• · Experience with Azure services (App Service, SQL Database, Data Factory, Integration Services, etc.)
• · Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) for cloud-based automation and extensions
• Migration Experience:
• · 5+ years of hands-on experience with ERP migrations, particularly on-premises to cloud transitions
• · Proven expertise in data migration planning, execution, and validation
• · Experience with legacy system assessment and modernization strategies
• · Track record of managing complex, large-scale migration projects
• Soft Skills and Leadership:
• · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• · Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• · Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations
• · Project management skills with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Key Responsibilities:

• Migration Planning and Strategy:
• · Develop comprehensive migration strategy and roadmap from on-premises Dynamics 365 to cloud
• · Conduct current state assessments and gap analysis of existing on-premises environment
• · Design cloud architecture leveraging Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 cloud capabilities
• · Create migration plans, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and rollback procedures
• Technical Leadership and Architecture:
• · Lead technical design and implementation of cloud-based Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solution
• · Design and oversee data migration strategies, including legacy data transformation and cleansing
• · Evaluate and recommend cloud infrastructure components, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery solutions
• · Ensure architecture adheres to best practices, security standards, and organizational governance
• Data Migration Management:
• · Plan and execute data migration from on-premises systems to cloud, ensuring zero data loss
• · Oversee data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and integrity verification
• · Develop and test migration scripts, tools, and automated processes
• · Manage cutover activities and post-migration validation
• Integration and Interoperability:
• · Design integration strategies for connecting cloud-based Dynamics 365 with existing on-premises and third-party systems
• · Configure and manage middleware, APIs, and messaging solutions for seamless data flow
• · Ensure compatibility and interoperability across hybrid environments during transition
• Performance, Security, and Compliance:
• · Monitor and optimize cloud solution performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• · Implement security best practices, identity management, access controls, and data encryption
• · Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, audit standards, and organizational policies
• Team Leadership and Knowledge Transfer:
• · Lead and mentor technical teams throughout migration phases
• · Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and quality assurance oversight
• · Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for operations and support teams
• · Document architectural decisions, migration procedures, and operational guidelines
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• · Work with business stakeholders, finance teams, and operations management to align technical solutions with business requirements
• · Participate in change management and communicate migration progress, milestones, and risks
• · Manage vendor relationships and third-party migration partners
