شركة AECOM، إحدى شركات الاستشارات الهندسية الرائدة عالمياً، تبحث عن مهندس تخطيط (Planning Engineer) للانضمام إلى فريقها في الرياض، السعودية. في هذا الدور، ستكون مسؤولاً عن تطوير ودمج ومراقبة جداول المشاريع الشاملة مع تقديم رؤى استراتيجية لضمان تسليم المشاريع بنجاح، وذلك بالتعاون مع الفرق متعددة التخصصات والمقاولين وأصحاب المصلحة.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تطوير وصيانة ودمج الجداول الرئيسية التي تغطي جميع مراحل المشروع بما في ذلك الهندسة والمشتريات والبناء والاختبار والتشغيل والتسليم
- مراجعة والتحقق من دقة واكتمال هياكل تحليل العمل (WBS) والجداول متعددة المستويات (المستوى 1 إلى المستوى 4) المقدمة من المقاولين
- وضع وتنفيذ منهجيات قياس التقدم المتوافقة مع متطلبات المشروع والمعالم التعاقدية وجدول القيم
- مراقبة الأنشطة الحرجة وشبه الحرجة، وتحديد المخاطر الناشئة في الجدول الزمني، وتقديم إنذار مبكر للانحرافات المحتملة وقيود الموارد
- إعداد وتحليل منحنيات S المخططة مقابل الفعلية، والمدرجات التكرارية للموارد، والجداول التطلعية، ومتابعة المعالم لتقديمها إلى الإدارة
- مراجعة الجداول التطلعية الأسبوعية والشهرية وثلاثية الأشهر المقدمة من المقاولين والتحقق من توافقها مع الجدول الرئيسي المدمج
- التحقق من التقدم الفعلي المبلغ من خلال سجلات الموقع ومراجعة الوثائق والتنسيق مع الفرق الميدانية لضمان الدقة
- تحليل الانزلاق الزمني للجدول والتأخيرات واتجاهات الأداء، والتوصية بإجراءات تصحيحية وتعويضية وتسريعية
- دعم تقييم مطالبات تمديد الوقت من خلال تحليل تسلسل أحداث التأخير الشامل وتأثير الجدول الزمني
- تتبع شراء وتصنيع وشحن واستلام وتركيب المعدات ذات المهلة الطويلة لضمان تسليم المشروع في الوقت المحدد
- دمج جداول أقسام المشاريع المتعددة مع متطلبات الواجهة بما في ذلك الاعتماديات الفنية والتشغيلية والكهربائية
- صيانة وتحديث الافتراضات والقيود وسجلات المخاطر وسجلات التأخير المتعلقة بالجدول طوال دورة حياة المشروع
- إعداد لوحات الإدارة والملخصات التنفيذية والروايات التفصيلية للجدول لتقارير التقدم الدورية والتواصل مع أصحاب المصلحة
- دعم التصديق على الفواتير ومعالجة الدفع من خلال التحقق من تحقيق المعالم المرتبطة بالجدول والمتطلبات التعاقدية
- التعاون مع فرق المشروع لحل تعارضات الجدول وتحسين توزيع الموارد عبر أنشطة المشروع
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة أو إدارة البناء أو إدارة المشاريع أو تخصص مكافئ
- خبرة مهنية لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في التخطيط والجدولة والتحكم في مشاريع البنية التحتية أو مشاريع البناء واسعة النطاق
- كفاءة متقدمة في استخدام Primavera P6 و/أو برامج تخطيط مشاريع مؤسسية معتمدة أخرى
- خبرة مثبتة في تحليل المسار الحرج وتحليل التأخير وتقييم تأثير الجدول الزمني
- معرفة قوية بمنهجيات قياس التقدم ومبادئ إدارة القيمة المكتسبة (Earned Value Management)
- كفاءة في استخدام Microsoft Project وExcel وأدوات تصور البيانات لإعداد تقارير الجدول وتحليلها
- فهم متين لهياكل تحليل العمل (WBS) ومنطق النشاط وتحميل الموارد وقيود الجدول
- مهارات تحليلية وحل مشكلات ممتازة مع القدرة على تفسير بيانات المشروع المعقدة وتحديد الاتجاهات
- مهارات تواصل كتابية وشفوية قوية مع القدرة على إعداد تقارير واضحة وموجزة وعرض النتائج على الإدارة العليا
- قدرة مثبتة على العمل بشكل تعاوني مع الفرق متعددة التخصصات والمقاولين وأصحاب المصلحة الخارجيين
- خبرة موثقة في إدارة أصحاب المصلحة وإدارة أولويات المشروع المتنافسة
- يفضل معرفة منهجيات إدارة المشاريع مثل PMP أو PRINCE2
- الإلمام بمشاريع البنية التحتية أو الطاقة أو المشاريع الصناعية الثقيلة أمر مرغوب فيه للغاية
- مهارات تنظيمية قوية، اهتمام بالتفاصيل، والقدرة على إدارة جداول متعددة في وقت واحد
- كفاءة في إدارة الوقت والقدرة على الالتزام بالمواعيد النهائية الضيقة في بيئة ديناميكية
- خبرة في تخطيط استرداد الجدول واستراتيجيات التسريع
- القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل وأخذ المبادرة مع البقاء مرناً وقابلاً للتكيف مع متطلبات المشروع المتغيرة

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and monitoring comprehensive project schedules while providing strategic insights to ensure successful project delivery. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to identify schedule risks, track progress, and implement corrective measures that keep projects on track and within scope. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in project planning and scheduling while contributing to significant infrastructure initiatives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Develop, maintain, and integrate master schedules covering all project phases including engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover
- Review and validate contractor work breakdown structures and multi-level schedules (Level 1 through Level 4) for accuracy and completeness
- Establish and implement progress measurement methodologies aligned with project requirements, contractual milestones, and schedule of values
- Monitor critical and near-critical activities, identify emerging schedule risks, and provide early warning of potential deviations and resource constraints
- Prepare and analyze planned versus actual S-curves, resource histograms, look-ahead schedules, and milestone trackers for management review
- Review weekly, monthly, and three-month look-ahead schedules submitted by contractors and verify alignment with the integrated master schedule
- Verify reported physical progress through site records, documentation review, and coordination with field teams to ensure accuracy
- Analyze schedule slippage, delays, and performance trends; recommend corrective, recovery, and acceleration measures
- Support evaluation of extension-of-time claims through comprehensive delay-event chronology and schedule-impact analysis
- Track long-lead equipment procurement, manufacturing, dispatch, site receipt, and installation to ensure timely project delivery
- Integrate multiple project section schedules with interface requirements including technical, operational, and energization dependencies
- Maintain and update schedule-related assumptions, constraints, risk registers, and delay logs throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare management dashboards, executive summaries, and detailed schedule narratives for periodic progress reports and stakeholder communications
- Support invoice certification and payment processing by verifying achievement of schedule-linked milestones and contractual requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize resource allocation across project activities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in planning, scheduling, and control of large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or other approved enterprise project-planning software
- Demonstrated expertise in critical path analysis, delay analysis, and schedule-impact assessment
- Strong knowledge of progress measurement methodologies and earned-value management principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and data visualization tools for schedule reporting and analysis
- Solid understanding of work breakdown structures (WBS), activity logic, resource loading, and schedule constraints
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project data and identify trends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise reports and present findings to senior management
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and managing competing project priorities
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 is preferred
- Familiarity with infrastructure, power, or heavy industrial projects is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously
- Proficiency in time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Experience with schedule recovery planning and acceleration strategies
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements
