Role Description The Validation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Riyadh Region, responsible for supporting CQV activities in pharmaceutical and other regulated facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing validation and qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for equipment, utilities, HVAC, cleanrooms, and computerized systems. The role involves conducting risk assessments, performing functional testing, documenting results, and ensuring that systems meet GMP and regulatory requirements. The Validation Engineer will collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve issues, support commissioning activities, and maintain validation lifecycle documentation. This position also requires active participation in audits, technical investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives related to compliance and system performance.
Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical and healthcare environments.
• Hands-on experience in Validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ execution, protocol development, risk assessments, and validation documentation.
• Proficiency in Debugging and Functional Verification of equipment, utilities, and control systems to ensure fitness for intended use.
• Familiarity with RTL Design or control/automation logic concepts is beneficial for working with computerized and automated systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related technical field; advanced qualifications or CQV certifications are an advantage.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, user requirements, and design specifications, and translate them into validation requirements.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and adherence to standardized procedures.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple assignments.
• Experience in commissioning and qualification in regulated industries within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred.
