Role Description The Tendering Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, responsible for managing the end-to-end tender process for pharmaceutical products and services. Daily responsibilities include identifying relevant tender opportunities, reviewing tender requirements, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather necessary technical, financial, and legal information. The role involves preparing and submitting compliant proposals, maintaining tender documentation, and tracking deadlines and submission statuses. The Tendering Specialist analyzes tender terms and pricing structures to support competitive bids, liaises with procurement and sales teams to align tender strategies, and maintains databases and records of all tender activities. This role also supports post-tender follow-up, including clarifications, negotiations, and reporting on tender outcomes to management.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Tender Management and Procurement skills, including experience handling end-to-end tender processes and supplier or client interactions.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review tender documents, evaluate pricing and risk, and interpret regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and Proposal Writing skills to produce clear, compliant, and persuasive bid documents.
• Candidates should ideally have knowledge of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry standards, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, or a related field is preferred, along with proficiency in MS Office and tender management or ERP systems.
• Previous experience in tendering, contracts, sales support, or procurement, particularly within pharmaceuticals or regulated industries, will be considered an advantage.
