Projects Director - Real Estate Development

About the Company:

A leading real estate development company is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Projects Director to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will hold full accountability for directing and overseeing our entire real estate and construction portfolio, leading administrative and technical teams to achieve company goals.

Executive Responsibilities:

• Executive Leadership: Direct and manage the core project teams, including (Project Managers, Supervisors, Inspectors, and Designers), delegating high-level responsibilities to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Project Portfolio Management: Oversee all ongoing and upcoming real estate projects simultaneously, ensuring top-tier execution, design accuracy, and strict on-time delivery.
• Strategic Scheduling: Establish master project timelines, monitor baseline schedules, and intervene promptly to resolve bottlenecks and prevent delays.
• Financial & Budgetary Control: Approve and monitor project budgets, manage financial forecasts, and control procurement costs to optimize expenditures.
• Quality Assurance & Engineering Codes: Ensure all site works comply strictly with technical specifications, approved architectural designs, and engineering standards.
• Contract & Vendor Management: Oversee, negotiate, and approve major contracts with contractors, suppliers, and consultants, evaluating their performance regularly.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential structural, financial, or logistical risks across projects and implement fast, efficient field solutions.
• Executive Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive progress and financial reports directly to executive management and the board of directors.

Qualifications & Education:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Architectural), Design, or Project Management, or related major.
• Proven executive track record as a Projects Director or Portfolio Manager within the real estate development and construction sector.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and on-site crisis management capabilities.
