Job Summary

We are looking for a Facade Structural Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in aluminum and glazing facade systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze aluminum and glazing facade systems, including typical and non-typical designs.

• Develop optimum, safe, and cost-effective solutions for proposals.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications and material submittals.

• Use the required structural analysis and design programs for glass, bolts, and other facade components.

• Select and verify suitable aluminum profiles, glass types, brackets, anchors, fasteners, and connections.

• Review shop drawings to ensure compliance with approved structural designs.

• Coordinate with consultants and project teams.

• Ensure designs comply with relevant international and local building codes and standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in facade engineering, particularly in aluminum and glazing systems.

• Strong understanding of curtain wall, unitized/stick systems, aluminum framing, glass, and facade connections.

• Experience with structural analysis and design software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.

• • Familiarity with relevant standards such as ASTM, BS, EN, ASCE, AAMA, and/or local building codes.
