WE ARE HIRING: MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Al Babtain Biscuit Manufacturing & Foodstuff Co. Ltd. (ABISCO) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our food-manufacturing facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Our manufacturing operations include:

·   Biscuit, pasta, dry-mix and noodles production

·   Factory utilities, including boilers, air compressors, chillers, HVAC, electrical systems, steam, water and other supporting equipment

Key Responsibilities:

·   Lead mechanical, electrical, automation and utility-maintenance teams.

·   Maximize equipment availability and minimize production downtime.

·   Develop and implement effective preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs.

·   Conduct root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring breakdowns.

·   Manage critical spare parts, maintenance budgets and technical contractors.

·   Plan and supervise shutdowns, equipment overhauls, installations and commissioning activities.

·   Maintain accurate equipment records, maintenance history and work orders through ERP/CMMS systems such as Odoo.

·   Ensure full compliance with food-safety, GMP, HACCP and occupational-safety requirements.

·   Monitor maintenance KPIs, including downtime, MTBF, MTTR and preventive-maintenance compliance.

·   Support continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and control maintenance costs.

Candidate Requirements:

·   Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering.

·   Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience, including managerial or supervisory responsibility.

·   Mandatory experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.

·   Strong hands-on knowledge of production machinery, PLCs, automation, boilers, compressors, chillers and factory utilities.

·   Proven experience in reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability and controlling maintenance costs.

·   Experience with biscuit, pasta, noodles, bakery or dry-mix production equipment will be a strong advantage.

·   Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving and team-management skills.

·   Fluent English communication skills are required.

We are looking for a strong maintenance leader-not only an administrator. The successful candidate must be technically capable, highly organized and ready to take full ownership of plant reliability and maintenance performance.
