Role Description The Industrial Electronics and Control Systems Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jiddah. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial control systems for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with engineering standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing control system architectures, configuring PLCs and related hardware, integrating instrumentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution. The engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize process control strategies to improve performance and efficiency. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, supporting commissioning activities, and coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure successful system deployment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Process Control and Control Systems Design to develop, integrate, and optimize industrial automation solutions.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Systems Engineering to design and analyze complex electromechanical and control systems.
• Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills to identify faults, perform diagnostics, and implement effective corrective actions in industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial communication protocols, and field instrumentation is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with international engineering standards, safety regulations, and best practices in industrial environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Jiddah and support project schedules, including coordination with contractors and stakeholders.
