Job Summary

BARIQ ARABIA is looking for a highly organized and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Riyadh.

We are looking for someone who can go beyond daily accounting tasks and contribute to building strong, structured, and efficient financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in strengthening the company’s financial operations and supporting management with accurate and reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Develop and improve accounting procedures, workflows, and internal financial controls.
• Build and maintain structured Excel-based financial tracking and reporting systems.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow reports, expense analysis, and financial performance reports.
• Manage and support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities.
• Ensure proper documentation, filing, and organization of financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Provide financial information and analysis to support management decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data and documentation.
• Support the development of scalable accounting systems and reporting structures as the company grows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong ability to build financial reports, dashboards, templates, reconciliations, and structured accounting systems using Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and improve existing accounting processes.
• Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and growing organization.
