Role Description The Assistant Guest Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Khobar, responsible for supporting daily guest-facing operations across Mathaqat’s restaurants and catering services. This role assists in welcoming guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. The Assistant Guest Coordinator supports communication between guests, front-of-house teams, and kitchen staff to address requests, preferences, and feedback promptly. Daily tasks include maintaining a professional and hospitable atmosphere, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and supporting special events or group bookings. The role also involves basic administrative duties, such as updating guest records, preparing reports, and helping implement service standards that reflect Mathaqat’s mission and vision.

Qualifications

• Strong guest service and hospitality skills, including the ability to create a welcoming environment and manage guest expectations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with guests, front-of-house teams, and kitchen staff.
• Organizational and time management abilities to handle reservations, seating plans, and busy service periods.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address guest concerns and support service recovery.
• Basic administrative and computer skills for managing guest data, reports, and reservations systems.
• Previous experience in restaurants, catering, or hospitality roles is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operations.
• Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
