Key Responsibilities:

1. Policy Research & Strategic Analysis

Lead comprehensive reviews of existing and proposed public policies, laws, and regulatory frameworks.

Analyze macro-level political, economic, and social trends affecting the organization’s sector.

Conduct comparative policy analysis at local, national, and international levels.

Identify policy gaps, risks, and reform opportunities.

2. Advisory & Decision Support

Provide evidence-based recommendations to senior management and executive leadership.

Develop strategic policy options and scenario analyses.

Contribute to long-term policy planning and institutional strategy development.

Support executive decision-making through policy briefings and strategic memos.

3. Policy Development & Reform

Participate in drafting new policy proposals, regulatory amendments, or reform frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policy alignment with organizational goals.

Review internal policies and ensure alignment with external regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, International Relations, Law, or a related field.

Proven experience in policy research, analysis, or advisory roles (typically 2-5+ years).

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information. Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to produce concise, high-quality reports under tight deadlines.

Familiarity with policy evaluation frameworks and regulatory processes.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or similar).
