We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to lead and oversee Zid’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

You’ll work closely with Finance, Business, and cross-functional teams to maintain the integrity of Zid’s financial records, improve accounting processes, support audits and tax requirements, and provide reliable financial information that enables better business decisions.

What You’ll Work On:

In this role, you will:

• Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
• Own the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting transactions
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and accounting schedules
• Ensure financial records are maintained accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
• Monitor and maintain strong internal controls across accounting processes
• Oversee bank, balance sheet, intercompany, and other key account reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing
• Monitor cash movements and support cash flow management and forecasting
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audits and financial reviews
• Support VAT, ZATCA, tax, and other statutory compliance requirements in coordination with relevant teams and advisors
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and audit-ready
• Partner with Finance and business teams to resolve accounting issues and provide guidance on financial transactions
• Review accounting treatment for new products, contracts, and business initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, automation, and reporting
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while promoting a culture of accuracy and accountability

What We’re Looking For:

Core Qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with experience in a management or senior accounting role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong hands-on experience with general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, AP, and AR
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reports
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia accounting and tax requirements, including VAT and ZATCA regulations
• Experience working with external auditors and supporting statutory audits
• Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting processes
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Fluent Arabic and strong English communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Professional accounting certification such as SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA
• Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, payments, or marketplace businesses
• Experience working in a high-growth or fast-paced technology company
• Experience with ERP implementation, accounting automation, or finance transformation
• Experience with multi-entity accounting or intercompany transactions
• Experience with revenue recognition and complex customer or merchant transactions
• Experience with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
• Experience building financial dashboards and management reporting
• Experience managing and developing an accounting team

• Internal Controls: Accounting policies, controls, approvals, and audit readiness
• Audit Management: External audits, financial reviews, supporting documentation, and auditor coordination
• Accounting Systems: ERP systems, accounting platforms, financial reporting tools, and process automation
• Data & Reporting: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial analysis
