Job Title: EM AC Technician

Department: Maintenance / Facilities

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical AC Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will handle both the mechanical (refrigeration) and electrical (controls, wiring, motors) aspects of AC equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

  Perform routine preventive maintenance on AC and HVAC units, including cleaning, inspecting, and replacing parts.

  Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in compressors, motors, wiring, controls, and refrigerant systems.

  Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

  Work with control systems such as VFDs, PLCs, and building automation systems.

  Maintain service records and reports on all maintenance and repair work.

  Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of refrigerants and electrical work.

  Communicate with clients and internal teams to coordinate schedules and explain issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

  ITI, Diploma, or Associate's Degree in Electro-Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, or a related field.

  2-4 years of experience in AC/HVAC maintenance and repair.

  Valid EPA/CFC certification for refrigerant handling.

  Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical circuits, and control systems.

  Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks, including lifting and working at heights.
