Role Description

The Senior Civil Tender Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Riyadh Region. The role involves leading the preparation of civil engineering tender documents, including technical proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules for infrastructure and stormwater management projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications, coordinating with design and planning teams, analyzing civil engineering drawings, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. The Senior Civil Tender Engineer will participate in bid strategy meetings, provide technical support during negotiations, and collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and optimize project solutions. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, maintaining documentation and databases related to tenders, and supporting continuous improvement in tender processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in cost estimation and tendering.
• Extensive experience in pricing various civil projects, including:
• Power Substations
• Infrastructure Projects
• Housing &general Civil Works
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Etimad / Monafasat platform.
• Experience in preparing and submitting both technical and financial proposals for projects.
• Ability to work closely with the Project Manager, Cost Engineer, and Accounts Department during the execution stage to effectively control and monitor project costs.
• Experience working in or leading teams of Civil Engineers, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary inputs for tender preparation.
• Proficiency in project Planning, including scheduling, resource estimation, and cost analysis for civil infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience in Stormwater Management, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and related hydraulic calculations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the Saudi Arabia and GCC region.
• Competence in civil engineering and tender-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, cost estimation tools).
