نبذة عن الوظيفة
في هذا الدور، ستعمل تحت إشراف رئيس قسم MEP وستكون مسؤولاً عن الإشراف وإدارة عمل المصممين والمقاولين التابعين للعميل في تقديم التصميم لأنظمة التحكم في التدفئة والتهوية وتكييف الهواء (HVAC) وأنظمة إدارة المباني (BMS) لصالات المطار. ستقوم بإعداد التقديرات وخطط العمل وتقارير التقدم والمساعدة في المناقصة والتقييم وتوصيات الترسية لمقاولي MEP. ستنسق وتتعاون مع فرق أخرى مثل فرق تسليم الصالات وإدارة أصحاب المصلحة والعقود والمشتريات والتشغيل/البدء حسب الحاجة عبر جميع مراحل دورة حياة المشروع. ستضمن خبرتك الفنية وتنسيقك تحقيق النتائج التي تلبي متطلبات العميل والمشروع.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- الإشراف وإدارة عمل المصممين والمقاولين التابعين للعميل في تقديم تصميم BMS لمباني الصالات.
- مراجعة المقدمات الفنية من المصممين والمقاولين المتعلقة بـ BMS.
- دعم قسم العقود والمشتريات في تقديم التصميم لدعم المشتريات والتقييم الفني والتوصيات بعد المناقصة.
- مراقبة والإبلاغ عن تقدم وأداء المصممين والمقاولين التابعين للعميل.
- التنسيق مع فريق إدارة أصحاب المصلحة لضمان الحصول على جميع التصاريح والموافقات المطلوبة في الوقت المناسب طوال دورة حياة المشروع.
- دعم فرق البناء والجودة أثناء تنفيذ الأعمال المتعلقة بالأنظمة الميكانيكية لمباني الصالات، بما في ذلك حل طلبات المعلومات وطلبات التغيير الميداني وتقارير عدم المطابقة وطلبات فحص العمل.
- دعم إجراء اختبارات وتفتيشات المصانع الخاصة بالموردين.
- دعم فريق التشغيل/البدء منذ البداية لضمان معالجة متطلبات التشغيل/البدء والتسليم في وقت مبكر من عملية التصميم، ودعم إجراء الاختبارات والتشغيل أثناء تنفيذ الأعمال.

الشروط والمتطلبات
- يتطلب درجة البكالوريوس (أو ما يعادلها دولياً) وما لا يقل عن 8 سنوات من الخبرة ذات الصلة في هندسة الأنظمة الميكانيكية.
- اعتماد مهني من هيئة معترف بها دولياً.
المهارات المطلوبة
- المعرفة والخبرة في تصميم BMS بما في ذلك ضوابط HVAC والأنظمة الكهربائية ذات الجهد المنخفض، بما في ذلك ضوابط الإضاءة.
- الإلمام بمعايير التصميم الوطنية والدولية المطبقة.
- الإلمام بمتطلبات التصميم المستدام المطبقة على الحفاظ على الطاقة وإمدادات المياه ومتطلبات الاعتماد المستدام من جهات خارجية مثل LEED.
- فهم صناعة الطيران واللوائح الدولية والمعايير ومعايير التصميم المتعلقة بتصميم المطارات.

Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world’s busiest and most complex airport projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments. In the GCC, we have held significant roles on King Khalid, King Fahad, Dubai, Hamad, and Muscat international airports.
Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company has been appointed to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of a state of the art international airport in the city of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
King Salman International Airport will have a capacity of up to 120 million travellers by 2030 and 185 million travellers by 2050, and the capacity to process up to 3.5 million tons of cargo by 2050. Bechtel will provide PMC services for three new terminals; Terminal 6 is a new build ‘low cost carrier’ - hyper efficient terminal with gross floor area of ≈450,000m2, capacity of 20mppa; Iconic Terminal is a new build ‘new concept’ terminal with gross floor area of ≈ 1M m2, capacity of 40 to 45 mppa, and Private Aviation Terminal and hangars for VIPs and business jet passengers.

Job Summary
- In this role, you will report to the MEP Lead and be accountable for supervising and managing the work of the customer’s designers and contractors in the delivery of design for the airport terminal HVAC controls and building management systems.
- You will prepare estimates, work plans, progress reports and assist with the tender, evaluation and award recommendations for the MEP contractor(s).
- You will coordinate and collaborate with other teams such as the Terminal Delivery teams, Stakeholder Management, Contracts & Procurement and Start-up/Commissioning as required through all stages of the Project life cycle.
- Your technical expertise and coordination will ensure outcomes meet customer and project requirements.
- Supervision and management of the customer’s designers and contractors in the delivery of terminal buildings BMS design.
- Review of technical submissions from designers and contractors relating to BMS.
- Support to Contracts & Procurement in the delivery of design to support procurement and post tender technical evaluation and award recommendations.
- Monitoring & reporting on the progress and performance of the customer’s designers and contractors.
- Coordination with the Stakeholder Management team to ensure that all required permits and approvals are achieved in a timely manner throughout the Project life cycle.
- Support to Construction & Quality delivery teams during the execution of the works relating to terminal buildings mechanical systems, including resolution of requests for information, field change requests, non-conformance reports and work inspection requests.
- Support the undertaking of vendor factory testing & inspections
- Support to Start-Up/Commissioning team from the outset to ensure that start-up/commissioning and hand-over requirements are addressed early in the design process and support the conduct of testing and commissioning during the execution of the works.
- Coordinate BMS design with other project disciplines, review project design criteria, vendor submissions, construction inspection records and startup test reports
- Coordinate mechanical systems design integration across numerous contracts, work packages and stakeholders.
- Liaison with customer representatives as the subject matter expert and accountable person for delivery of mechanical systems engineering documentation, including presentations and reporting as required.
- Undertake audits, reports and present findings of designer, contractor, stakeholder and project team application and adherence to engineering processes and policies.
- Support the production of verification packages to facilitate turnover of completed mechanical systems and facilities.
- Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and minimum of 8 years of relevant mechanical systems engineering experience.
- Professional accreditation with an appropriate internationally recognized body.
- Knowledge and experience with BMS design including HVAC controls and low voltage electrical systems, including lighting controls.
- Familiarity with applicable national and international design codes.
- Familiarity with sustainability design requirements applicable to conservation of energy and water supplies and third party sustainability accreditation requirements such as LEED.
- Understanding of airline industry and international regulatory codes, standards and design criteria relating to airport design.
- Experience with integration of airport mechanical systems into building management systems.
- Knowledge of interface management and the management of system to civil and system to system interfaces.
- Possesses working knowledge and production ability with computer-aided drafting software, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Possesses a working knowledge of BIM processes, including experience designing projects in BIM platforms, particularly Revit and Navisworks.
