تسعى Lucid Motors Middle East إلى تعيين مهندس دعم برمجيات للمركبات (Vehicle Software Support Engineer) في مدينة الملك عبد الله الاقتصادية، مكة المكرمة، السعودية.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

نبحث عن مهندس دعم برمجيات استباقي وقوي تقنيًا لدعم أساطيل التطوير الداخلية ومركبات العملاء في بيئة هندسية سريعة الوتيرة. سيعمل هذا الدور بشكل وثيق مع فرق البرمجيات والأجهزة والتحقق والتصنيع لتشخيص واستكشاف وحل المشكلات المعقدة في الأنظمة عبر بيئات التطوير والإنتاج.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • تقديم دعم فني عملي لوحدات التطوير الداخلية ومركبات الأساطيل ومركبات العملاء
  • العمل ضمن بيئة خط الإنتاج والبيئة الهندسية لدعم جاهزية الأنظمة وحل المشكلات
  • التعاون الوثيق مع فرق البرمجيات والأجهزة والتحقق والتصنيع والجودة لاستكشاف وحل المشكلات المعقدة على مستوى النظام
  • إجراء تحليل جذري تفصيلي للأسباب عبر تفاعلات البرمجيات والأجهزة والنظام باستخدام السجلات وبيانات النظام ومخرجات التشخيص
  • تحليل سلوك النظام وتحديد أنماط الفشل وعزل المشكلات في بيئات معقدة متعددة المكونات
  • دعم أنشطة تكامل النظام والتحقق والإصدار عبر مراحل التطوير والإنتاج
  • إنشاء وتوثيق وإدارة تقارير المشكلات، وتتبع التقدم حتى الحل وضمان الإغلاق المناسب
  • التعاون مع الموردين وشركاء الهندسة عبر الوظائف لدفع حل المشكلات في الوقت المناسب
  • المشاركة في نوبة عمل عند الطلب (on-call) مرة واحدة شهريًا تقريبًا
  • المساهمة في المراجعات الفنية والمناقشات الجماعية ومبادرات التحسين المستمر

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في هندسة البرمجيات أو هندسة الحاسوب أو الهندسة الكهربائية أو نظم المعلومات
  • خبرة مهنية لا تقل عن 5 سنوات
  • خبرة قوية في تحليل الأسباب الجذرية واستكشاف المشكلات في الأنظمة التقنية المعقدة (برمجيات أو أجهزة أو بيئات متكاملة)
  • خبرة في العمل ضمن بيئات تتطلب تشخيص المشكلات عبر أنظمة أو مكونات متفاعلة متعددة
  • القدرة على تحليل السجلات أو القياسات عن بعد (telemetry) أو بيانات النظام لتحديد المشكلات ودفع الحلول
  • خبرة في دعم بيئات التحقق من النظام أو الاختبار أو الإنتاج
  • فهم متين لسلوك النظام وطرق الفشل ومنهجيات التصحيح (debugging)
  • الإلمام بمفاهيم دورة حياة تطوير البرمجيات وتكامل النظام وعمليات الإصدار
  • مهارات تواصل وتعاون قوية مع القدرة على العمل عبر الوظائف
  • عقلية تركز على العميل مع القدرة على العمل بفعالية في بيئة سريعة الوتيرة
  • القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل مع تحمل قوي للمسؤولية والمبادرة
  • روح الفريق مع الرغبة في تعلم تقنيات جديدة والتكيف بسرعة

المهارات المطلوبة

  • خبرة في أنظمة السيارات أو المركبات الكهربائية (EV)
  • الإلمام ببروتوكولات الاتصال داخل المركبة والتشخيص (مثل CAN و UDS أو ما يماثلها)
  • خبرة في العمل ضمن بيئات Linux أو استخدام أدوات سطر الأوامر للتصحيح والتحليل
  • خبرة في تشخيص المركبات أو الأنظمة المضمنة (embedded systems) أو بيئات تكامل الأجهزة/البرمجيات
  • خبرة في دعم إطلاق المنتجات أو بيئات الإنتاج أو المشكلات التشغيلية عالية الإلحاح

Lucid is seeking a proactive and technically strong Software Support Engineer to support internal development fleets and customer vehicles in a fast-paced engineering environment. This role partners closely with software, hardware, validation, and manufacturing teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues across development and production environments.

You Will

  • Provide hands-on technical support for internal development units, fleet vehicles, and customer vehicles
  • Operate within a production line and engineering environment to support system readiness and issue resolution
  • Partner closely with software, hardware, validation, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis across software, hardware, and system interactions using logs, system data, and diagnostic outputs
  • Analyze system behavior, identify failure patterns, and isolate issues in complex, multi-component environments
  • Support system integration, validation, and release activities across development and production phases
  • Create, document, and manage issue reports, tracking progress through resolution and ensuring proper closure
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering partners to drive timely issue resolution
  • Participate in an on-call rotation approximately one weekend per month
  • Contribute to technical reviews, team discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, and at least 5 years of professional experience
  • Strong experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting in complex technical systems (software, hardware, or integrated environments)
  • Experience working in environments where issues must be diagnosed across multiple interacting systems or components
  • Ability to analyze logs, telemetry, or system data to identify issues and drive resolution
  • Experience supporting system validation, testing, or production environments
  • Solid understanding of system behavior, failure modes, and debugging methodologies
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts, system integration, and release processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with strong ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automotive or EV systems
  • Familiarity with in-vehicle communication protocols and diagnostics (e.g., CAN, UDS, or similar)
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments or using command-line tools for debugging and analysis
  • Exposure to vehicle diagnostics, embedded systems, or hardware/software integration environments
  • Experience supporting product launches, production environments, or high-urgency operational issues
