About The Role

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of Islamic finance principles, development policies, and international best practices is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in project management tools, and excellent communication abilities are required. Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic, French, or other languages relevant to member countries will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of development projects in alignment with IsDB’s strategic priorities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, government agencies, development partners, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and financial analyses to support project approval and sustainability.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports, progress updates, and evaluations for senior management and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with Islamic finance principles, organizational policies, and international standards throughout project cycles.
• Identify opportunities for new projects and funding sources to enhance the bank’s development impact.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building initiatives within project teams and partner organizations.
• Represent IsDB at conferences, seminars, and stakeholder meetings to promote its development agenda.
