شركة البحر الأحمر الدولية (مجموعة البحر الأحمر العالمية) تعلن عن وظيفة مدير الأمن الحيوي وصحة النبات في مشتل (Plant Nursery Biosecurity & Plant Health Manager) في مدينة تبوك وأملج، المملكة العربية السعودية.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

تتولى شركة (بوتانيكا) التابعة للبحر الأحمر الدولية مسؤولية توفير المساحات الخضراء المستدامة في وجهات البحر الأحمر، مع دمج الأنواع الجديدة مع النباتات المحلية. تمتد على مساحة تزيد عن 1 مليون متر مربع، وقد زرعت أكثر من 5 ملايين نبتة منذ 2020، بهدف الوصول إلى 30 مليون نبتة بحلول 2030. الهدف من هذه الوظيفة هو تطوير وتنفيذ برنامج شامل للأمن الحيوي وإدارة الجودة لحماية صحة النبات وتقليل مخاطر الآفات والأمراض عبر عمليات المشتل والبيوت المحمية، وضمان معايير إنتاج متسقة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • تطوير وتنفيذ إطار عمل إدارة الأمن الحيوي في المشتل والبيوت المحمية، يشمل تقييم المخاطر ووضع استراتيجيات التخفيف، ووضع إجراءات التشغيل لحركة النباتات والتعقيم والإكثار ومعالجة النفايات، وضمان التنسيق بين فرق البحث والإنتاج والتشغيل.
  • إعداد جداول التفتيش والمراقبة لصحة النبات والنظافة وإدارة الآفات، والحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة وأنظمة تتبع للمواد النباتية والموردين وأنشطة التعقيم، وتنسيق المراجعات الداخلية والإجراءات التصحيحية لضمان الامتثال للمعايير الداخلية والخارجية.
  • تطوير وتقديم برامج تدريبية للموظفين حول صحة النبات والأمن الحيوي والنظافة وإمكانية التتبع، وتعزيز ثقافة المسؤولية تجاه الأمن الحيوي بين الفرق.
  • تحليل بيانات صحة النبات والتشغيل لتحديد الاتجاهات والفجوات وفرص التحسين، وإعداد تقارير ولوحات عرض حول أداء الأمن الحيوي لفريق البحث والتطوير والإدارة، ودعم التجارب والمبادرات البحثية لتحسين مقاومة النباتات وممارسات الإنتاج.
  • التعاون الوثيق مع فرق الإنتاج والبحث والمرافق لمواءمة الممارسات وتبادل الرؤى، والتواصل مع الجهات الصحية النباتية وهيئات الاعتماد والشركاء الصناعيين حسب الحاجة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في أمراض النبات أو البستنة أو علوم النبات أو تخصص ذي صلة.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في بيئة المشاتل أو البيوت المحمية أو الإنتاج البستاني.
  • خبرة في إدارة الآفات والأمراض: القدرة على تحديد ومراقبة وإدارة مختلف آفات النباتات والأمراض والأعشاب الضارة، بما في ذلك معرفة طرق المكافحة المختلفة (العضوية والبيولوجية والكيميائية) ومبادئ الإدارة المتكاملة للآفات (IPM).
  • خبرة في بروتوكولات الأمن الحيوي والنظافة في المشاتل.
  • خبرة في تنفيذ أنظمة إدارة أو أطر إجرائية (جودة أو سلامة أو بيئية).
  • مهارات قوية في الكتابة والتوثيق لتطوير الإجراءات والسياسات.

Job Purpose


To develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive plant biosecurity and quality management program that safeguards plant health, minimizes pest and disease risks, and ensures consistent production standards across nursery and greenhouse operations.


This role will establish effective systems, procedures, and monitoring processes that integrate biosecurity best practices with research, development, and production goals.


Key Responsibilities:


1 . Program Development & Implementation


  • Design and roll out a site-wide biosecurity management framework tailored to nursery and greenhouse operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for plant health threats, pest entry points, and operational vulnerabilities.
  • Establish and maintain clear operating procedures for plant movement, sanitation, propagation, and waste handling.
  • Ensure alignment between research, production, and operational teams on biosecurity protocols.


2. Monitoring & Compliance


  • Set up inspection and monitoring schedules for plant health, hygiene, and pest management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and traceability systems for plant material, suppliers, and sanitation activities.
  • Coordinate internal reviews, audits, and corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance with internal standards and external requirements.


3. Training & Awareness


  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on plant health, biosecurity, hygiene, and traceability.
  • Promote awareness and accountability across teams to foster a proactive culture of biosecurity.


4. Continuous Improvement & Reporting


  • Analyze plant health and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations on biosecurity performance for R&D and management teams.
  • Support trials, evaluations, and R&D initiatives that contribute to improved plant resilience and production practices.


4. Collaboration & Liaison


  • Work closely with production, research, and facilities teams to align practices and share insights.
  • Liaise with plant health authorities, certification bodies, and industry partners as needed.


Qualifications & Experience:


Essential:


  • Bachelor’s degree in: plant pathology, horticulture, plant science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a nursery, greenhouse, or horticultural production environment.
  • Pest and Disease Management Experience: The ability to accurately identify, monitor, and manage various plant pests, diseases, and weeds is crucial. This includes knowledge of different control methods (organic, biological, and chemical) and the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
  • Biosecurity Protocols & Hygiene Experience: A deep understanding and strict adherence to nursery hygiene practices and biosecurity protocols
  • Experience implementing: management systems or procedural frameworks (quality, safety, or environmental).
  • Strong writing and documentation skills for procedure and policy development.


Desirable


  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Clear communication is vital for educating staff and landowners on best practices, collaborating with team members, and liaising with government agencies or clients.
  • Data Management & IT: Skills in record-keeping, data analysis, and using relevant software (e.g., inventory management, pest surveillance software) can enhance efficiency and decision-making.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: The ability to adjust plans in response to unpredictable environmental changes, new pest threats, or evolving industry standards.
