Position Title: Accountant

Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience: 1-3 Years

Summary

Handles daily financial transactions, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and ZATCA/VAT compliance to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

·        General Accounting & Ledger Maintenance:

o   Prepare and post daily journal entries, payment vouchers, and receipt vouchers.

o   Maintain accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) ledgers.

o   Perform month-end and year-end account closing activities.

·        Bank & Account Reconciliation:

o   Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances on a monthly basis.

o   Follow up on outstanding receivables and coordinate timely vendor payments.

·        Tax & ZATCA Compliance:

o   Ensure full compliance with ZATCA e-invoicing (Fatoorah) requirements.

o   Prepare monthly/quarterly VAT filings and assist with Zakat documentation.

·        Financial Reporting & Audit:

o   Prepare basic trial balances, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.

o   Assist external auditors by gathering required supporting documents and schedules.

Requirements

·        Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.

·        Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
