Role Description The Horizontal Directional Drilling Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah. This role oversees end-to-end HDD and trenchless project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout in alignment with client requirements and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing project plans and schedules, coordinating drilling crews and subcontractors, managing equipment and materials, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and client specifications. The Project Manager will track progress, control budgets, manage risks, and resolve technical or operational issues to maintain project quality and timelines. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders, preparing reports and documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of HDD methods and field practices.

Qualifications

• Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget control for HDD or civil infrastructure projects.
• Technical expertise in Horizontal Directional Drilling, trenchless construction methods, underground utilities, and related equipment operation and maintenance.
• Strong abilities in stakeholder communication, client coordination, reporting, and documentation in English; Arabic proficiency is an asset.
• Knowledge of HSE standards, risk management, and regulatory compliance within Saudi and GCC construction environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Proven experience managing field teams in HDD, microtunneling, or underground infrastructure projects, preferably with major contractors or utilities.
• Competence with project management and MS Office tools; familiarity with construction management software is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in varying field conditions, make timely decisions, and maintain high quality and safety standards.
