Role Description The Accounts Payable Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Khobar. This role is responsible for processing supplier invoices, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate posting of accounts payable entries. Day-to-day tasks include reconciling vendor statements, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers to address payment issues. The Accounts Payable Accountant will prepare payment runs, monitor aging reports, support month-end closing activities, and assist with audits and compliance requirements. • Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills, with a solid understanding of payables processes and general ledger principles.
• Candidates should possess skills in Account Reconciliation, including vendor statement reconciliation and resolving outstanding balances or discrepancies.
• Candidates should possess skills in Invoice Processing and Invoicing, including validation, coding, and timely entry of supplier invoices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems; experience with automated AP workflows is an advantage.
• Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an added benefit.
• Prior experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role, preferably within trading, distribution, or automotive-related industries.
