WSP in the Middle East تعلن عن توفر وظيفة Associate / Principal Electrical Design Engineer - Data Centres & Mission Critical في الرياض، السعودية. سيقود المهندس المعين التصميم والاستشارات والتسليم متعدد التخصصات لمشاريع مراكز البيانات الحيوية في المنطقة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة تصميم وتكامل وتسليم أنظمة الكهرباء والميكانيك والسباكة لمشاريع مراكز البيانات الحيوية.
  • تقديم الحوكمة الفنية من خلال مراجعة وإقرار مخرجات الهندسة بما يتوافق مع المعايير العالمية ومتطلبات العميل.
  • دفع تطوير حلول مراكز البيانات المعيارية والسحابية والمشتركة وفائقة الاتساع.
  • العمل كواجهة أساسية مع العميل، وبناء علاقات استشارية موثوقة عبر الحسابات الرئيسية في المنطقة.
  • قيادة ورش العمل الفنية ومراجعات التصميم والعروض التقديمية لكبار أصحاب المصلحة.
  • امتلاك استراتيجية المشروع وضمان التميز في التسليم عبر مراحل دورة الحياة من المفهوم إلى التنفيذ.
  • دفع تطوير الأعمال بما في ذلك قيادة المناقصات واستراتيجية العروض والتوضع التجاري.
  • تحديد واستغلال الفرص في البنية التحتية الرقمية والنظم السحابية وفائقة الاتساع.
  • التعاون مع القيادة الإقليمية لتوسيع نطاق الخدمات الحيوية/مراكز البيانات.
  • قيادة وتوجيه وتطوير فرق هندسية متعددة التخصصات عبر الكهرباء والميكانيك والمدني والهندسة المعمارية.
  • الإشراف على تخطيط الموارد والاستفادة منها وتطوير القدرات ضمن ممارسة مراكز البيانات.
  • ضمان تلبية جميع الحلول لمعايير المرونة والاستدامة وقابلية التوسع والكفاءة التشغيلية.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية أو مجال ذي صلة (يفضل الماجستير).
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 12 عامًا في تصميم/تسليم/استشارات مراكز البيانات الحيوية.
  • فهم قوي لمعايير Tier ومعايير NFPA وASHRAE ومبادئ Uptime Institute.
  • خبرة مثبتة في أسواق دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي (الإمارات و/أو السعودية).
  • خبرة في العمل مع شركات استشارية كبيرة أو شركات هندسية دولية.
  • مهارات ممتازة في القيادة والتواصل والتعامل مع العملاء.

Job Description

WSP in the Middle East is currently hiring for Associate / Principal Electrical Design Engineer - Data Centres & Mission Critical who will lead multidisciplinary design, advisory, and delivery of mission‑critical data centre projects across the region.

The role will oversee client engagement, project strategy, technical excellence, and team leadership, while ensuring all data centre solutions meet global standards for resilience, sustainability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, integration, and delivery of electrical and MEP systems for mission‑critical data centre projects.
  • Provide technical governance by reviewing and approving engineering deliverables aligned with global standards and client requirements.
  • Drive development of modular, cloud, colocation, and hyperscale data centre solutions.
  • Act as the primary client interface, building trusted advisory relationships across key accounts in the region
  • Lead technical workshops, design reviews, and senior stakeholder presentations.
  • Own project strategy, ensuring delivery excellence across lifecycle stages from concept to execution.
  • Drive business development including bid leadership, proposal strategy, and commercial positioning.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities in digital infrastructure, hyperscale, and cloud ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to expand the mission‑critical/data centre service offering.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams across electrical, mechanical, civil, and architecture.
  • Oversee resource planning, utilization, and capability development within the data centre practice.
  • Ensure all solutions meet benchmarks for resilience, sustainability, scalability, and operational efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in mission-critical/data centre design, delivery, or advisory.
  • Strong understanding of Tier standards, NFPA, ASHRAE, Uptime Institute guidelines.
  • Proven experience in GCC markets (UAE and/or KSA).
  • Experience working with large consultancies or international engineering firms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client‑facing abilities.
