Role Description The Drafter role at Chic Studio is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah. The Drafter will translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings and plans for interior, architectural, and contracting projects. Daily responsibilities include preparing 2D and 3D drawings, updating plans based on design and site changes, and coordinating with designers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure drawing accuracy. The role involves reviewing measurements, applying design standards, preparing detailed layouts and sections, and supporting documentation for permits and construction. The Drafter will also assist in optimizing design solutions, maintaining organized project files, and ensuring that drawings meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong technical drafting skills using CAD and relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar).
• Experience creating detailed interior and architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
• Ability to interpret design concepts, sketches, and specifications, and convert them into precise technical documentation.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishing standards in commercial and residential projects.
• Solid spatial awareness and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, measurements, and quality control.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, architects, engineers, and site teams.
• Organizational skills for managing multiple projects, version control of drawings, and meeting deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in interior design, contracting, or fit-out projects is preferred.
