About the Opportunity

SJ Group is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced professionals for future opportunities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Land Surveyor to support construction supervision and engineering projects by performing surveying activities, verifying site measurements, and ensuring works are executed in accordance with approved plans and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out land, topographic, and construction surveys in accordance with project requirements
• Verify site dimensions, levels, alignments, and coordinates for construction activities
• Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
• Monitor contractor surveying activities and verify the accuracy of setting out works
• Prepare survey reports, records, sketches, and as-built data
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve survey-related issues
• Ensure survey equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
• Support the preparation and verification of as-built drawings and documentation

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in land surveying, construction surveying, or engineering projects
• Proficiency in the use of surveying instruments, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and digital levels
• Experience with survey data processing and relevant software applications
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, standards, and construction practices
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• GCC/KSA experience preferred
