Company Description ATHR Gallery, founded in 2009 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is a pioneering contemporary art space dedicated to elevating Middle Eastern art on a global stage. The gallery acts as a cultural bridge between Saudi Arabia and the wider world, representing artists who work across diverse disciplines, from traditional painting and sculpture to experimental and unconventional media. Its program responds to an evolving local art scene and supports narratives that range from personal stories to broader cultural themes. ATHR has expanded with locations in Al-Ula and Riyadh, and further developed its impact through the ATHR Foundation and AKTHR, a cultural project delivery agency for Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region.

Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on Technician to support the day-to-day technical operations of the project and ensure equipment and systems remain operational and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs.
• Monitor technical equipment and systems and respond promptly to faults.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support timely resolution.
• Assist with installation, setup, testing, and maintenance of equipment.
• Report technical issues, maintenance needs, and recurring faults to the Technical Manager.
• Maintain basic maintenance records and ensure tools and equipment are properly handled.
• Provide on-site technical support during operating hours.
• Follow health, safety, and operational procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Maintenance, or a related technical field.
• 2-4 years of relevant hands-on experience in technical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, or technical operations.
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance, fault identification, and basic repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site and according to operational schedules, including shifts when required.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English, with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to coordinate effectively with technical and operational teams.
