شركة Ames Construction، إحدى الشركات الرائدة في مجال الإنشاءات الثقيلة والمدنية منذ أكثر من 60 عامًا، تعلن عن حاجتها إلى ميكانيكي ميداني (Field Mechanic) للعمل على مشاريع الطرق السريعة والإنشاءات الثقيلة في المنطقة الشرقية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • تشخيص وإصلاح أعطال معدات الإنشاءات الثقيلة في المواقع الميدانية.
  • تنفيذ أعمال الصيانة الوقائية والفحوصات والإصلاحات على المعدات ومركبات الدعم.
  • تشخيص وإصلاح محركات الديزل، والأنظمة الهيدروليكية، ومجموعات نقل الحركة، والأنظمة الكهربائية، ومكونات الهيكل السفلي.
  • الاستجابة لأعطال المعدات ونداءات الخدمة الطارئة في مواقع المشاريع.
  • إجراء فحوصات شاملة للمعدات وتوثيق أنشطة الإصلاح والصيانة.
  • العمل عن كثب مع المشغلين والمشرفين ومديري المعدات لتحديد وحل مشاكل المعدات.
  • المحافظة على شاحنات الخدمة والأدوات ومخزون قطع الغيار وسجلات صيانة المعدات.
  • تنفيذ أعمال اللحام والتصنيع واستبدال المكونات حسب الحاجة.
  • إجراء فحوصات السلامة على المعدات وضمان الامتثال لمعايير السلامة الخاصة بالشركة.
  • المساعدة في تجهيز ونشر وإعداد المعدات في المشاريع الجديدة.
  • الحفاظ على مستوى عالٍ من الاحترافية أثناء العمل المستقل في مواقع المشاريع النائية.
  • المشاركة في اجتماعات السلامة والتدريب وبرامج الشركة.
  • أداء أي مهام أخرى تُكلف بها.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • خبرة لا تقل عن 3-5 سنوات في صيانة وإصلاح معدات الإنشاءات الثقيلة (يفضل).
  • رخصة قيادة سارية المفعول (مطلوبة)؛ رخصة CDL (يفضل).
  • القدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل مع إشراف محدود.
  • هذه الوظيفة ميدانية بشكل أساسي وتتطلب سفرًا مكثفًا.
  • الاستعداد للسفر إلى مواقع مشاريع متعددة والعمل بعيدًا عن المنزل لفترات طويلة حسب احتياجات المشروع.
  • توقع السفر والمبيت خارج المدينة.
  • المرونة للعمل لساعات إضافية، وعطلات نهاية الأسبوع، ونداءات الإصلاح الطارئة عند الحاجة.
  • القدرة على رفع وحمل أوزان تصل إلى 75 رطلاً بشكل متكرر.
  • القدرة على التسلق حول المعدات الثقيلة، والوقوف، والمشي، والركوع، والانحناء، والزحف، والعمل في مساحات ضيقة.
  • العمل في الهواء الطلق في جميع الظروف الجوية وأداء أعمال تتطلب جهدًا بدنيًا لفترات طويلة.
  • اتباع جميع سياسات وإجراءات السلامة الخاصة بالشركة وارتداء معدات الوقاية الشخصية المطلوبة في جميع الأوقات.
  • الحفاظ على بيئة عمل آمنة ومنظمة، والإبلاغ الفوري عن الظروف غير الآمنة وعيوب المعدات.

المهارات المطلوبة

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment in field environments.
  • Perform preventative maintenance services, inspections, and repairs on equipment and support vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, drivetrain components, electrical systems, and undercarriage components.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency service calls at project sites.
  • Complete equipment inspections and document repair and maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with operators, foremen, superintendents, and equipment managers to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintain service trucks, tools, parts inventory, and equipment maintenance records.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and component replacement as needed.
  • Conduct equipment safety inspections and ensure compliance with company safety standards.
  • Assist with equipment mobilization, setup, and commissioning on new projects.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while working independently at remote project locations.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training, and company programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Equipment Experience

Candidates with experience maintaining and repairing the following equipment are strongly preferred:

  • Caterpillar (Cat) Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, Motor Graders, Rollers, and Haul Trucks
  • John Deere Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, and Articulated Trucks
  • Crushers and Screening Plants
  • Paving and Asphalt Equipment
  • Skid Steers and Compact Equipment
  • Service Trucks and Support Equipment

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of heavy construction equipment maintenance and repair experience preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Cat and John Deere equipment is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and powertrain systems.
  • Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Travel Requirements

  • This is primarily a remote, field-based position.
  • Extensive travel is required.
  • Must be willing to travel to multiple project locations and work away from home for extended periods as project demands require.
  • Overnight travel should be expected.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and emergency repair calls when necessary.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to climb on and around heavy equipment.
  • Stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.

Safety Requirements

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear required PPE at all times.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Report unsafe conditions and equipment defects immediately.
  • Participate in required safety meetings and training.
