About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Engineer to join our dynamic team at OPSWAT. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols and solutions that protect our infrastructure, products, and customer data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, network security, and software development, with a keen eye for identifying vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate risks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects within a fast-paced environment, contributing to the security posture of a leading cybersecurity company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, or related roles, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
• Experience with security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCSP are highly desirable.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement security measures to protect OPSWAT’s infrastructure, products, and customer data.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses.
• Monitor security alerts and respond promptly to security incidents, ensuring minimal impact and swift resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into product development and deployment processes.
• Maintain and update security documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, trends, and technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance overall security posture.
• Provide security training and awareness programs to staff to promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.
