نبذة عن الوظيفة

مطلوب معلم دراسات إسلامية لتقديم المادة لطلاب من عمر 3 إلى 16 عامًا تقريبًا، في صفوف متعددة المستويات تشمل متحدثين بالعربية وغير الناطقين بها. يتطلب الدور مرونة عالية، تمايزًا في التدريس، وتخطيطًا مناهجيًا متكيفًا مع المنهج الوطني السعودي وإطار البكالوريا الدولية (IB) في بيئة مدرسية دولية حديثة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • تدريس الدراسات الإسلامية لطلاب من مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة حتى المرحلة الثانوية في صفوف متعددة المستويات مع تخطيط منفصل يناسب الفئات العمرية.
  • تقديم دروس فعالة للناطقين بالعربية وغير الناطقين بها، مع إدارة مستويات مختلفة من الكفاءة في العربية والإنجليزية داخل الصف نفسه.
  • تخطيط وتقييم التعلم وفق متطلبات المنهج الوطني السعودي، مع التوافق مع إطار البكالوريا الدولية ومنهجية التعلم المتمحورة حول الطالب.
  • استخدام العربية والإنجليزية بشكل مناسب لضمان الوصول والفهم والشمولية لجميع الطلاب.
  • القيام بدور رئيسي في تنظيم وتقديم التقاليد الإسلامية والفعاليات والاحتفالات والعادات، ودعم مجتمع المدرسة الأوسع.
  • المساهمة بمرونة في احتياجات المدرسة الأخرى مع تطورها في بيئة ناشئة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة في الدراسات الإسلامية (إلزامي).
  • لغة عربية بمستوى ناطق أصلي مع مستوى عالٍ من الإنجليزية؛ القدرة على التدريس ثنائي اللغة ضرورية.
  • الراحة في تدريس الطلاب من عمر 3 إلى 16 عامًا.
  • قدرة مثبتة (أو إمكانية قوية) على التمايز الفعال للفصول المختلطة الأعمار واللغات.
  • الاستعداد والثقة للعمل في مدرسة جديدة ومتطورة مع أعداد وهياكل طلابية متغيرة.
  • الجنسية السعودية مفضلة بشدة.
  • القدرة على تدريس اللغة العربية أيضًا ذات قيمة عالية وتوفر مرونة إضافية.

Role Overview 

We are seeking an Islamic Studies Teacher to deliver Islamic Studies across a wide age range (approximately ages 3-16) in a small, diverse, and multilingual school community. This role requires a high level of flexibility, differentiation, and curriculum planning, as classes are multigrade and include both Arabic and non Arabic speakers within the same group. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the development of Islamic Studies in a new international school context, ensuring alignment with the Saudi national curriculum while working within the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Teach Islamic Studies to students from Early Years through Secondary in multigrade classes, with separate planning to meet ageappropriate objectives. 
  • Deliver lessons effectively to both native and nonnative Arabic speakers, managing different levels of Arabic and English proficiency within the same class. 
  • Plan and assess learning to meet the requirements of the Saudi national curriculum, while aligning with the school’s IB framework and learnercentred approach. 
  • Use Arabic and English as appropriate to ensure access, understanding, and inclusion for all students. 
  • Take a leading role in the organisation and delivery of Islamic traditions, events, celebrations, and customs, supporting the wider school community. 
  • Contribute flexibly to other school needs as they evolve in a startup environment. 

Requirements 

  • Degree in Islamic Studies (mandatory). 
  • Nativelevel Arabic with a high level of English; ability to teach bilingually is essential. 
  • Comfortable teaching students from ages 3 to 16. 
  • Proven ability (or strong potential) to differentiate effectively for mixedage and mixedlanguage classes. 
  • Willingness and confidence to work in a new, evolving school, with changing student numbers and structures. 
  • Saudi nationality strongly preferred. 
  • Ability to also teach Arabic language is highly valued and will provide additional flexibility.

Starting salary: 140.000 SAR / Year

Final salary is based on relevant qualifications and experience. Accommodation is also provided as an additional benefit and included for staff at no additional cost.
