تسعى شركة WSP في الشرق الأوسط إلى تعيين مفتش مرور (Traffic Inspector) للانضمام إلى فريقها في الرياض، السعودية، لضمان انسيابية حركة المرور وسلامة مستخدمي الطرق في مشاريع البناء.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • إجراء عمليات تفتيش منتظمة لتدابير إدارة المرور، واللافتات، والعلامات، والإشارات في مشاريع بناء الطرق لضمان الامتثال للخطط والمواصفات والمتطلبات التنظيمية المعتمدة.
  • مراجعة خطط إدارة المرور، والتحويلات المرورية المؤقتة، وتخطيطات مناطق العمل لتحديد المخاطر والمخاطر ونقاط الازدحام المحتملة، والتوصية بتدابير التخفيف المناسبة.
  • مراقبة تدفق حركة المرور وأنماطها بالقرب من مواقع البناء، وتقييم تأثير أنشطة البناء على مستخدمي الطريق والمشاة والمجتمعات المجاورة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو هندسة النقل أو مجال ذي صلة.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 7 سنوات في إدارة المرور أو تخطيط النقل أو المجالات ذات الصلة، مع التركيز على مشاريع الطرق والجسور والطرق السريعة والأنفاق.
  • سجل حافل بالعمل مع كبار الاستشاريين الدوليين في مجال البناء وضمان الامتثال للوائح ومعايير المرور.
  • الشهادات المهنية أو التراخيص في إدارة المرور تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • فهم قوي لمبادئ هندسة المرور وأجهزة التحكم في حركة المرور وتقنيات إدارة المرور.
  • مهارات ممتازة في التواصل والتعامل مع الآخرين، مع القدرة على التواصل الفعال مع مختلف أصحاب المصلحة وبناء علاقات تعاونية.
  • إتقان أدوات ومنصات البرمجيات ذات الصلة لتحليل حركة المرور والمحاكاة والنمذجة.

Job Description

WSP is seeking a proficient Traffic Inspector to join our team and ensure the efficient flow of traffic and the safety of road users on construction projects in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in conducting traffic inspections, implementing traffic management plans, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of traffic management measures, signage, markings, and signals on road construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review traffic management plans, temporary traffic diversions, and work zone layouts to identify potential risks, hazards, and congestion points, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Monitor traffic flow and patterns near construction sites, assessing the impact of construction activities on road users, pedestrians, and neighboring communities.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, local authorities, and law enforcement agencies, to coordinate traffic management strategies and minimize disruptions to traffic.
  • Implement traffic control measures, such as lane closures, detours, and temporary traffic signals, in accordance with approved plans and safety protocols.
  • Conduct traffic impact assessments and modeling to predict the effects of construction activities on traffic congestion, travel times, and safety, and propose strategies to mitigate adverse impacts.
  • Investigate traffic incidents, accidents, and near misses, documenting findings, identifying contributing factors, and recommending preventive measures to enhance safety.
  • Provide guidance and training to construction teams and traffic control personnel on traffic management procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in traffic management and transportation planning, incorporating relevant advancements into project strategies and methodologies.
  • Uphold WSP's commitment to safety, sustainability, and quality excellence in all aspects of project execution.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications or licenses in traffic management are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in traffic management, transportation planning, or related fields, with a focus on road, bridges, highway, and tunnel projects.
  • Proven track record of working with top international construction consultants and ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and standards.
  • Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, traffic control devices, and traffic management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders and foster collaborative relationships.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms for traffic analysis, simulation, and modeling.
