Job Description:

The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) will play a pivotal role in steering the organization’s vision towards achieving its long-term goals within a semi-government framework. This executive-level position demands a dynamic leader who possesses an intricate understanding of public sector dynamics, regulatory environments, and strategic policy frameworks. Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in strategic planning, management, or leadership roles, with at least 7 years at an executive level in a public sector or semi-government organization.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful long-term strategic initiatives that align organizational goals with external trends and stakeholder needs.
• Deep understanding of governmental regulations, compliance requirements, and public policy development.
• Exceptional ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable strategies that drive organizational performance.
• Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and management, adept at building strong relationships with a diverse range of partners and constituents.
• Demonstrated aptitude for leadership, guiding cross-functional teams in a collaborative manner to achieve strategic objectives.
• Experience in risk management and navigating political environments to protect organizational interests and advance strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that define the organization’s long-term vision and translate it into actionable priorities.
• Conduct thorough market analysis and environmental scanning to identify opportunities and threats, shaping organizational strategies accordingly.
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure alignment of strategic objectives across all levels of the organization.
• Lead the performance measurement framework to assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies, adjusting tactics as needed based on performance indicators.
• Actively engage and negotiate with key stakeholders, including government representatives, private sector leaders, and community organizations to foster partnerships and collaborative opportunities.
• Serve as a thought leader within the organization, staying abreast of emerging trends affecting public policy and strategic development, and advising the executive team accordingly.
