Required Academic Qualification:

B.sc of Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in engineering and design and 3 years in construction-related activities for Instrumentation & Control (I&C), ICT Networks, Telecommunications Networks, Security Systems, and Smart City Digital Infrastructure Networks for infrastructure projects.

Scope of Responsibility and Accountabilities

• Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems for Potable Water, Irrigation, and Lift Stations.
• ICT Networks.
• Telecommunications Networks.
• Security Systems Networks.
• Smart City Digital Infrastructure Networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages.
• Review suppliers', vendors', and subcontractors' offers, quotations, and proposals, and provide technical evaluation reports.
• Prepare Material Technical Submittals.
• Review IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Information (RFIs) as required.
• Prepare, review, and issue shop drawings.
• Provide technical support to the site construction team and resolve engineering issues.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain approval of shop drawings and technical submissions.
• Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure compliance with project design requirements.
• Monitor project progress and provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering studies, and technical meetings.
• Experience working in a Common Data Environment (CDE) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Aconex or similar platforms.
• Ability to review and coordinate BIM models to LOD requirements and project BIM Execution Plans.
• Prepare, review, and issue As-Built drawings.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities for I&C and ELV systems.

Training Requirements

A minimum of two (2) relevant training certificates related to Instrumentation & Control (I&C), ICT, Telecommunications, Security Systems, SCADA, Smart City Infrastructure, or other related engineering disciplines shall be provided.

Software Proficiency Requirements

The candidate shall demonstrate proficiency in the following software applications:

• AutoCAD for engineering design and drafting.
• Revit for BIM-based design and coordination.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, data analysis, and presentations.
• Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and workflows (preferred).
