We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and TypeScript to join our team in Riyadh.
You will design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and maintainable web applications - REST APIs, databases, background processing, and responsive user interfaces.
⚠️ Important Requirements:
• Prior experience working on government projects is required
• Must be based in KSA (Riyadh - onsite)
• Arabic speaker required

What You'll Do
• Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications with clean, modular, maintainable code
• Design, implement, and document REST APIs
• Design database schemas, migrations, and optimize queries and indexes
• Implement authentication, session management, and role-based access control
• Build background jobs (Sidekiq / Active Job) for notifications, reporting, and integrations
• Build responsive interfaces with reusable, strongly typed TypeScript components
• Integrate frontend with Rails APIs - auth, loading states, validation, errors
• Support multilingual interfaces including Arabic RTL and English LTR
• Write automated tests (RSpec / Minitest), review code, and mentor junior developers
What We're Looking For
• 5+ years in web development, including:
→ 3+ years with Ruby on Rails
→ 2+ years hands-on with TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of Ruby, OOP, and MVC architecture
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Proven experience developing REST APIs and integrating third-party services
• Experience with RSpec or Minitest, Git-based workflows
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Proven experience on government projects (required)
• Based in KSA - Riyadh (onsite)
• Arabic speaker (required)..

• Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus | SSO / enterprise identity | CI/CD pipelines
• Next.js | Storybook | Figma | Tailwind CSS
• Enterprise or government applications with demanding .
