Role Description The Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable Linux-based infrastructure environments. This role includes managing system administration tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring high availability of critical services. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize existing systems. Daily activities involve configuring servers, managing networking and security settings, automating routine tasks, and documenting technical procedures and architectures. The role also requires staying current with industry best practices, participating in technical reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the infrastructure landscape.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to lead the administration and optimization of our enterprise server environments for a major project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Job Description:

• Infrastructure Management: Architect, deploy, and maintain high-availability enterprise Linux environments (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Performance & Reliability: Proactively monitor system health, tune performance, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure maximum uptime.
• Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols, manage patching cycles, and conduct system hardening across all Linux assets.
• Automation: Drive efficiency by automating routine operational tasks using advanced shell scripting (Bash, Python) and configuration management tools.
• Virtualization & Containers: Oversee virtualization platforms and manage containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) to support modern application deployment.

Requirements:

• Experience: 10 Years
• Location: Must currently be located in Riyadh or inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Language: Arabic speakers are required.
• Transferable Iqama is required.
