Job Title: Senior SD-WAN Network Engineer / Arista Expert

Experience: 8+ years in enterprise networking

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SD-WAN and Arista Network Expert to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise WAN and data center network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SD-WAN technologies, Arista EOS, routing and switching, network security, and large-scale enterprise network deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain SD-WAN solutions across enterprise and branch networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot Arista switches using Arista EOS.
• Implement and manage BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VLANs, VXLAN, EVPN, and related routing and switching technologies.
• Design and optimize WAN connectivity, including MPLS, broadband, Internet, and IPsec VPN connectivity.
• Implement SD-WAN policies, traffic steering, application-aware routing, QoS, and high availability.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues involving packet loss, latency, routing instability, and connectivity.
• Integrate SD-WAN solutions with firewalls, cloud platforms, data centers, and existing network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security using network monitoring and telemetry tools.
• Perform network upgrades, configuration changes, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
• Develop network diagrams, implementation plans, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, data center, and infrastructure teams.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SD-WAN architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Arista switches and Arista EOS.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, routing policies, and IP addressing.
• Knowledge of VXLAN, EVPN, MLAG, VLANs, and leaf-spine architectures.
• Experience with IPsec VPNs, WAN edge devices, and network resiliency.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, MTU, and packet analysis.
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and CLI diagnostics.
• Knowledge of network automation using Python, Ansible, or APIs is an advantage.
• Familiarity with network monitoring, logging, and configuration management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant Arista, networking, or SD-WAN certifications.
• Experience with enterprise or service-provider network environments.
• Familiarity with cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with change management, incident response, and high-availability network design.
