Join a dynamic security operations team as a SOC L2 Analyst, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding critical digital assets within Saudi Arabia. This permanent, onsite position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to advanced threat detection and response efforts in a high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze security alerts, escalating as necessary, to identify and mitigate potential threats and compromises.
• Conduct in-depth threat hunting exercises to proactively discover sophisticated and undetected malicious activities.
• Perform comprehensive log analysis across various security tools and systems to identify anomalies and indicators of compromise.
• Lead incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Execute vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and report on system weaknesses.
• Develop and refine security playbooks and procedures to enhance incident response efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to continuously improve defensive posture.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments or equivalent cybersecurity roles.

Essential Skills

• Proven expertise in Network Security principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk) for log collection, correlation, and analysis.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Intrusion Detection and prevention systems.
• Demonstrated experience in Incident Response methodologies and procedures.
• Proficiency in Threat Hunting techniques and tools.
• Skilled in advanced Log Analysis and forensic techniques.
• Experience with Vulnerability Assessment tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Endpoint Security solutions and their deployment.
• Understanding of Cloud Security concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in Packet Analysis using tools like Wireshark.
• Familiarity with security technologies such as Splunk, Palo Alto firewalls, and CrowdStrike EDR.
• Excellent Communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork, and Critical Thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
• Fluency in English.
