المهام والمسؤوليات
- تقييم الأطراف السفلية للمرضى وإجراء فحوصات القدم الروتينية وتوثيق النتائج السريرية.
- المساعدة في الوقاية من مضاعفات القدم السكرية وإدارتها من خلال تقديم الرعاية للجروح والعناية بالأظافر والجلد ودعم الإجراءات الطبية للقدم تحت إشراف الأطباء أو أخصائيي القدم.
- تثقيف المرضى وعائلاتهم حول نظافة القدم وعوامل الخطر وممارسات الرعاية الذاتية، وتنسيق متابعة الرعاية والتحويلات عند الحاجة.
- التعاون مع الفريق متعدد التخصصات، والالتزام بمعايير مكافحة العدوى والسلامة، والمشاركة في أنشطة تحسين الجودة والتوثيق السريري.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- مؤهل تمريض مهني (دبلوم أو بكالوريوس في التمريض) مع رخصة تمريض سارية المفعول في المملكة العربية السعودية أو القدرة على الحصول عليها.
- خبرة أو اهتمام قوي بمجال العناية بالقدم وقدم السكري وإدارة الجروح والرعاية الوقائية للقدم.
- معرفة بمبادئ إدارة السكري والتقييم الأساسي للأوعية الدموية والعصبية للأطراف السفلية وممارسات مكافحة العدوى.
- القدرة على العمل ضمن فريق متعدد التخصصات، وإدارة الوقت بفعالية، وتحديد أولويات رعاية المرضى في بيئة سريرية مزدحمة.
- خبرة سابقة في عيادات خارجية أو وحدات العناية بالجروح أو خدمات القدم مفضلة ولكنها غير إلزامية.
- الالتزام بالتطوير المهني المستمر والممارسة الأخلاقية وتقديم رعاية محترمة وغير تمييزية لجميع المرضى.
المهارات المطلوبة
- مهارات تقييم سريري وتوثيق قوية مع الالتزام بالبروتوكولات والاهتمام بالتفاصيل.
- مهارات تواصل جيدة باللغة الإنجليزية؛ وإجادة اللغة العربية ميزة إضافية.

Role Description The Podiatry Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for providing specialized nursing care focused on foot health for individuals with diabetes and related conditions. The Podiatry Nurse will provide wound care, nail and skin care, and support podiatric procedures under the supervision of physicians or podiatrists. The role involves educating patients and families on foot hygiene, risk factors, and self-care practices, as well as coordinating follow-up care and referrals when needed. The nurse will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, adhere to infection control and safety standards, and participate in quality improvement and clinical documentation activities.
