Are you an experienced finance leader with a strong background in accounting and financial management? We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Head Accountant to lead our financial and accounting operations in Dammam, Saudi Arabia!

As the Head Accountant, reporting directly to the Department Manager, you will independently oversee and handle end-to-end accounting functions, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and tax management. This is an individual contributor role responsible for executing all day-to-day financial operations directly, and optimizing financial workflows in a fast-paced environment.

• Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee daily accounting workflows, month-end/year-end closing, and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Financial Operations & Costing: Manage job costing, billing, vendor reconciliations, and margin analysis (logistics/transportation knowledge is a plus).
• Compliance & Taxation: Ensure full adherence to Saudi tax regulations (VAT, Zakat, and WHT filings via ZATCA) and IFRS standards.
• Audit & Internal Controls: Lead external audit engagements, strengthen internal controls, and maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Cash Flow & Budgeting: Monitor cash flow, assist in preparing budgets, and provide financial insights to management.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure operational efficiency and deadline adherence.

• Years of Experience: 5 to 10 years of overall accounting experience, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Industry Experience: Experience within the Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain sector is preferred.
• Location: Based in or willing to work in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
• Language & Nationality: Arab National with fluent / professional English proficiency (both written and spoken).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is a plus).
• Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of Saudi ZATCA regulations, VAT, and Zakat compliance.
