Key Responsibilities:

•   Ensure high Customer Service practices by Greeting customers, answering inquiries, providing product recommendations, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
•  Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently (cash, credit, debit), handling returns and exchanges, achieving sales targets (if applicable), and upselling or cross-selling products.
•  Ensure all goods are scanned and priced accurately.
•  Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change.
•  Calculate and return change when required by the payment method.
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts during end of shift closing.
• Developing a strong understanding of the store's products, features, benefits, and pricing. Staying up to date on new products and promotions.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. This may include dusting, vacuuming, arranging merchandise, and ensuring displays are stocked and presentable. Report issues with equipment.
• Assisting with receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, stocking shelves, and participating in inventory counts- this may involve using inventory management systems.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout area.
• Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise.
• Being aware of potential security risks and taking steps to prevent theft or damage to merchandise.
•  Collaborating with colleagues to achieve store goals and provide excellent customer service. Work as a team to meet store sales goals.

Education / Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Good spoken and written English (Arabic an advantage)
• 2+ years in cashier / customer service position us desirable
•  Experience in cash handling and common point-of-sale systems.
