Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in civil and infrastructure projects, including utility and industrial sectors. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, generating leads, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and preparing proposals and presentations that align with SAK’s service offerings. The specialist will collaborate with project and technical teams to understand capabilities, support bid preparation, and ensure that client requirements are accurately translated into commercial proposals. The role also involves tracking opportunities in relevant markets, supporting contract negotiations, maintaining CRM records, and providing regular reports on business development activities and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to assess opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Proven experience in Lead Generation and business development within construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Knowledge of civil, utility, or industrial construction services and familiarity with project execution processes.
• Ability to prepare clear proposals, presentations, and reports, and to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic and experience in the Saudi market are highly beneficial.
