Role Description The MV Power Cable Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam, focused on installation, termination, splicing, and testing of medium-voltage power cables in industrial and energy environments. Responsibilities include preparing and routing cables, performing structured cabling work, and using appropriate hand tools and test equipment in accordance with technical drawings, procedures, and safety standards. The technician will diagnose cable faults, carry out repairs, support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, and document all work performed. The role includes close collaboration with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to ensure reliable operation of electrical systems and adherence to company quality and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in working with medium-voltage cables, including installation, termination, splicing, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with cabling and structured cabling systems in industrial or energy-sector projects.
• Solid understanding of electricity fundamentals, electrical safety practices, and relevant standards.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and cable-specific tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Previous experience in MV or HV cable work, offshore or utility projects, or similar environments is an advantage.
• Relevant technical diploma or vocational certification in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related field.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and working effectively in diverse teams on-site.

Position Requirements:

• Valid SECO and/or Saudi Aramco certification.
• Experience in power cable splicing for 15 kV and above.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of power cable splicing, termination, and related electrical works.
• Ability to follow applicable safety standards and project requirements.
