WSP in the Middle East تبحث عن مهندس رئيسي - كهرباء (مهمة حرجة) للعمل في الرياض، لقيادة تصميم الأنظمة الكهربائية لمراكز البيانات بدءًا من النهاية إلى النهاية، وضمان تلبية الحلول لمعايير الموثوقية والكفاءة والامتثال الصارمة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • ترجمة متطلبات العميل إلى تصاميم كهربائية متينة تشمل التوزيع الكهربائي (جهد متوسط ومنخفض)، والمولدات، وأنظمة UPS، والمفاتيح الكهربائية، وقنوات التوزيع، وخطط التأريض، وأنظمة مراقبة الطاقة، وأنظمة الكشف عن الحرائق والإنذار وغيرها.
  • إنتاج جميع الوثائق الفنية: الحسابات، دراسات الأنظمة، مخططات الخط الواحد، رسومات التخطيط، المواصفات، المخططات الكتلية، وجداول الامتثال.
  • قيادة مراجعات التصميم المفاهيمية والتفصيلية باستخدام أدوات تحليلية متقدمة ونماذج BIM/Revit والتنسيق مع تخصصات العمارة والميكانيكا وتقنية المباني.
  • توجيه وتطوير المهندسين المبتدئين، ومشاركة أفضل الممارسات في الأنظمة الكهربائية الحرجة، ودفع التحسين المستمر عبر فريق التصميم.
  • التعاون الوثيق مع الفرق الإقليمية والعالمية لتنمية قدرات الاستشارات وضمان التوافق مع معايير التصميم العالمية.
  • تطوير وتوحيد حلول قابلة للتوسع ومكررة لمراكز البيانات لتحقيق الثبات والكفاءة عبر الإمارات والمملكة العربية السعودية.
  • إجراء تقييمات المواقع، وتخطيط السعة، ودراسات الجدوى بما يتماشى مع متطلبات Uptime Institute Tier.
  • ضمان الامتثال للمعايير الدولية (Uptime Institute، TIA-942، NFPA، ASHRAE) واللوائح المحلية.
  • دفع نمو الأعمال من خلال المساهمة في المقترحات الفنية والعروض التقديمية للعملاء وتحديد فرص تحسين الخدمات.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس أو الماجستير في الهندسة الكهربائية.
  • 10+ سنوات من الخبرة المتزايدة في التخطيط والتصميم والتسليم لمراكز بيانات واسعة النطاق، بما في ذلك مشاريع متعددة من المستوى Tier III/IV وفق معايير Uptime.
  • قدرة مثبتة على التنسيق مع أصحاب المصلحة في بيئات معقدة ومصفوفية.
  • الشهادات المهنية مثل Uptime Tier Certified Professional، PMP، LEED AP، أو BICSI RCDD مرغوبة بشدة.
  • معرفة عميقة بالبنية التحتية الكهربائية لمراكز البيانات، وتوزيع الطاقة، والخوادم، والتخزين، وأنظمة الشبكات، وأنظمة SCADA، وإدارة الطاقة، والأنظمة منخفضة الجهد ELV، والأمن.

Job Description

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a highly experienced Mission Critical Principal Engineer - Electrical to join our team. In this role, you will lead end-to-end electrical system design for data centers, ensuring solutions meet rigorous reliability, efficiency, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Translate client requirements into robust electrical designs, including electrical distribution (medium and low voltage), generator, UPS systems, switchgear, busducts, grounding schemes, power monitoring systems, fire detection and alarm system etc.
  • Produce all technical documentation: calculations, system studies, single-line diagrams, layout drawings, specifications, block schematics, and compliance tables.
  • Lead conceptual and detailed design reviews, leveraging advanced analytical tools, BIM/Revit models, and coordination with architectural, mechanical, and building technology disciplines.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, share best practices in mission-critical electrical systems, and drive continuous improvement across the design team.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and global teams to grow consulting capabilities and ensure alignment with global design standards
  • Develop and standardize scalable, repeatable data center solutions to drive consistency and efficiencies across UAE and KSA.
  • Conduct site assessments, capacity planning, and feasibility studies aligned with Uptime Institute Tier requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, NFPA, ASHRAE) and local regulations.
  • Drive business growth by contributing to technical proposals, client presentations, and by identifying opportunities for service enhancements


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of progressive electrical experience in planning, designing, and delivering large-scale data centers, including multiple Uptime Tier III/IV projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Professional certifications such as Uptime Tier Certified Professional, PMP, LEED AP, or BICSI RCDD are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of Data Centres Electrical infrastructure, Power distribution topologies, servers, storage, network systems, SCADA systems, power management, ELV, and security.
  • Experienced in data center construction phasing and associated design planning.
  • Strong communication skills for effective client presentations, stakeholder workshops, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Familiarity with local and international codes and standards, including NEC, IEC, ISO 50001, ISO 27001, PDPL, and ESMA.
