Job Purpose

We are looking for an Accountant to handle daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting for the company and its sister concerns. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, good Excel skills, and a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and prepare journal entries.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support Zakat and VAT preparation and filing.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, meeting the educational requirements for SOCPA membership.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Zakat and VAT is preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Good command of English is mandatory.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
