Logistics Operations Coordinator - Baytonia

About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage our day-to-day logistics operations, covering product movement between our warehouses, showrooms, and customers. You will make sure every transfer, delivery, and receipt runs efficiently and on time, while keeping products safe and service quality high.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations

• Monitor product movement and transportation between warehouses, showrooms, and customers.

• Coordinate with warehouse teams, delivery teams, and other departments to keep operations running smoothly.

• Track transportation, receiving, and delivery requests to ensure they are completed on schedule.

• Resolve daily operational challenges as they arise.

Shipments & Deliveries

• Follow shipments and orders from preparation through final delivery.

• Coordinate with transportation companies and drivers to ensure on-time deliveries.

• Follow up on delayed or pending orders and take corrective action.

• Keep receiving and delivery records accurate and up to date in the system.

Product Movement

• Ensure products are ready before transportation or delivery.

• Manage the movement of returned or damaged products to the relevant departments.

• Ensure proper handling and safety during loading, transportation, and delivery.

• Track transfers between locations and maintain accurate movement records.

Performance & Improvement

• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and pending orders.

• Monitor the performance of transportation companies and logistics providers.

• Identify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements.

• Help reduce transportation costs and waste while improving order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics operations, transportation and distribution, or supply chain.

• Experience in the furniture or e-commerce industry is a plus.

• Solid understanding of shipping, delivery, and returns processes.

• Strong organizational, follow-up, and prioritization skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or order management systems.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to take corrective action quickly.
