Rotana Hotels تبحث عن مدير هندسة (Director of Engineering) ذو شغف وديناميكية للانضمام إلى فريقها في مكة المكرمة، المملكة العربية السعودية، للمساهمة في تقديم خدمات استثنائية وحلول إبداعية للضيوف.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تنظيم ووضع برامج الصيانة الوقائية لجميع المعدات الكهربائية والميكانيكية بما في ذلك أعمال البناء العامة.
- إبلاغ المدير العام ونائب الرئيس التنفيذي للهندسة والخدمات الفنية بأي مشاكل في جميع الأوقات.
- الإشراف على موظفي الصيانة والمقاولين الذين يقومون بأعمال البناء البسيطة والتركيبات الكهربائية والميكانيكية.
- الإشراف والتنسيق مع جميع المقاولين، وكتابة المواصفات لجميع الأعمال الكهربائية والميكانيكية وذات الصلة بالبناء بما يتوافق مع اللوائح الحكومية المحلية، وفحص أعمال المقاولين والتوقيع عليها بعد الانتهاء المرضي.
- الإشراف على الصيانة العامة لجميع أنظمة السلامة الحيوية في جميع أنحاء الفندق والإبلاغ عن أي عيوب كبيرة.
- ضمان تحديث جميع ملفات الإدارة بما في ذلك المطبوعات الفنية والمواصفات والمعدات وأدلة الصيانة الفنية وغيرها.
- التوصية وتقييم برامج ترشيد الطاقة وضمان تنفيذها بالإضافة إلى التحقيق في الهدر.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة في الهندسة الميكانيكية والكهربائية.
- خبرة لا تقل عن ثلاث سنوات في دور مماثل داخل صناعة الضيافة.
- إجادة جيدة للغة الإنجليزية كتابةً وتحدثاً.
- القدرة على اكتشاف الأعطال وإصلاح الأنظمة الفرعية.
المهارات المطلوبة
يجب أن يكون المرشح المثالي قادراً على التعامل مع التوتر والعمل تحت الضغط، وأن يتمتع بمهارات إدارية قوية، وعقلية تحليلية، والقدرة على كتابة تقارير موجزة. كما يجب أن يكون لديه مستوى عالٍ من التحفيز الذاتي وقادر على تطوير خيارات مبتكرة تصب في مصلحة الفندق، مع امتلاك الكفاءات التالية: القدرة على التكيف (Adaptability)، التركيز على العملاء (Customer Focus)، السعي لتحقيق النتائج (Drive for Results)، التأثير على النتائج (Influencing Outcomes)، قيادة الأشخاص (Leading People)، إدارة العمليات (Managing Operations)، التخطيط للأعمال (Planning for Business)، بناء الفريق (Team Building)، فهم العمل (Understanding the Business)، تقدير التنوع (Valuing Diversity).

Job Description
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Engineering professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As a Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering you are responsible on all matters related to the repairs and maintenance operation of the physical plant and engineering facilities within the hotel and maintain all mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment including heating and ventilation, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as-
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally have a degree in mechanical and electrical engineering with at least three years experiences in a similar role within the hospitality industry. A good command of written and spoken English and the ability to find fault and rectify subsystems are essentials.
Knowledge & Competencies
The ideal candidate will be able to handle stress and work under pressure and bring along strong administrative skills, an analytical mind and the capability of being able to write concise reports. You will have a high level of self motivation, develop innovative options in the best interest of the hotel while possessing following competencies-

- Organize and set up preventive maintenance programmes for all electrical and mechanical equipment including general building works
- Advise the General Manager and the Corporate Vice President - Engineering and Technical Services of any problems at all times
- Supervise maintenance employees and contract employees who are carrying out minor building work, electrical and mechanical installations
- Supervise and liaise with all contractors, write specifications for all electrical, mechanical and associated building works complying with the local government regulations and inspect and sign for contractor works upon satisfactory completion
- Oversee the general maintenance of all life safety systems throughout the hotel and report any major defects
- Ensure that all administration files are kept up to date including drawing prints, specifications and equipment, technical maintenance manuals, etc.
- Recommend and evaluate energy conservation programmes and ensure they are carried out as well as investigate the wastage
