Role Description The Cashier role at GFS Express is a full-time, on-site position based in Makkah. The Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate cash registers for shipping and delivery services. Daily tasks include processing cash, card, and digital transactions, verifying charges, and reconciling cash drawers at the end of shifts. The Cashier assists customers with billing questions, explains service fees, and coordinates with customer service and operations teams to ensure smooth transactions. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, following company policies and procedures, and supporting basic administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

1.Ability to using Microsoft skills including not limited Excel, Word, Power Point.

2.Ability to manage cash registers, process payments accurately, and reconcile daily transactions.

3.Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, polite interaction, and problem-solving with clients.

4.Basic math skills and attention to detail for handling currency, calculating totals, and checking invoices.

5.General computer literacy, including the use of point-of-sale systems and basic office software.

6.Organizational skills to handle multiple customers, prioritize tasks, and maintain orderly work areas.

7.Previous experience in cashier, retail, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.

8.Familiarity with shipping, logistics, or delivery services is a plus but not required.

9.Ability to work on-site in Makkah, stand for extended periods, and follow company guidelines and security procedures.
